Preface This book has been written with the specific aim of furnishing the necessary fundamentals of 'Maintenance of Electrical Equipment, to the students and covers the syllabi of final year Diploma course according to the Board of Technical Education Delhi Administration, Delhi. Since efforts have been made to present the subject matter in the most simple and easy to understand language. The relevant theory is arranged in the form of serialized articles which are concise, compact and to the point. Due care has been taken of the examinations needs of the students. Frequent use of figures has been made for clarity. In the present edition of this book, I have undertaken a thorough revision of the subject.
