Preface | Conventional & Objective Typw Questions & Answers on Mechanical Engineering for Competitions (with Guidelines to Interview Preparation and Sample Interviews) - This book has been thoroughly revised and updated as per the new scheme and syllabus prescribed by UPSC from 2018 onwards. The interview questions and answers portion has been enlarged to include latest type of interview questions. These have been arranged subjectwise. It is hoped that students will find the new arrangement more useful. From 2018 onwards (Preliminary/Stage I) Examination will have two papers. Paper I (common for all branches of Engineering) will be based on ‘General Studies and Engineering Aptitude’. Paper II, will be Engineering discipline specific. This book will serve the purpose for clearing Paper II. To cover requirements of Paper I, Author has written separate book on the subject— ‘General Studies and Engineering Aptitude’. This book is now available in market. It has been written exclusively as per the prescribed syllabus. It contains sufficient theory portion followed by objective type questions and answers. It also contains Solved Papers of 2018 and 2019 Examinations and a model test paper (fully solved). It is hoped that candidates will be greatly benefitted by this new book. The book has also been revised completely in accordance with the valuable suggestions received from the students as well as from the aspirants of the competitive examinations. Although every effort is made to make it error free; errors are inevitable in work of this magnitude. I look forward for the constructive comments, suggestions for improvement and correction, if any. Handbook of mechanical Engineering - Success in competitive exams depends on proper planning of studies and appropriate selection of study materials. In the last 8 years unknowingly. I have been in the process of learning Mechanical Engineering. I never come across a single book that puts adequate emphasis on problem solving procedure, inter-relativity among formulas, and fundamental concept through pictorial representation for easy understanding with a dedicated focus on subject recollection. Hence, I started to compile a book that will cater exclusively to candidates taking completive exams like GATE, ES, PSU’S etc. and I feel pleasure in presenting you the book useful as “SUBJECT REFRESHER” I have tried to make this book useful for those students too, who are not comfortable with Mechanical Subject. The pre-requisites for reading this book are basic understanding of the MECHANICAL subjects. |
