Q. How do I create a Khanna Publishers Account?
A. On the homepage, in the top right corner you will find the “Register” button. Clicking it, will take you to the Registration page, where you will be asked to fill out a form with basic information for the account creation process. After checking the T&C, EULA & Privacy Policy box and on clicking “Continue”, your account will be created. At this point, please check your email id for a verification email that will contain a link, which will complete your registration process. After this, you can shop unimpeded on the Khanna Publishers website.
Q. What is 'My Account'? How do I update my information?
A.It is easy to update your Khanna Publishers account and view your orders any time through 'My Account'. 'My Account' allows you complete control over your transactions on Khanna Publishers

Q. How to place an order?
A. When you have found the book you want to purchase, you can follow the following steps to make a purchase: Select the item which you want to purchase by clicking Add to Cart button.
  • If you want to select other items repeat the aforementioned step.
  • After you have finished selecting all the items you wish to purchase, click the "Cart" button present on the top right corner of the page.
  • After reaching your cart you can change the quantity of the selected items if you wish. At this point click on the checkout button.
  • In case you do not have a Khanna Publishers account, you must register yourself on our website by following a few simple steps mentioned on the registration page.
  • After registering, enter your personal details like name, address etc.
  • Fill in delivery details and select a suitable delivery method.
  • Select payment method, our website offers payment through Net banking/Credit card/Debit card.
  • At this point, you'll receive an email from us confirming your order receipt with complete details.
Q. How do I know my order has been confirmed?
A. Once your order has been logged and payment authorization has been received, the publisher confirms receipt of the order and begins processing it. You will receive an email containing the details of your transaction. In this mail you will be provided with a unique Order ID (eg. OD01202130213), a listing of the book(s) you have ordered and the expected delivery time. You will also be notified when the publisher ships the book(s) to you. Shipping details will be provided with the respective tracking number(s).
Q. Can I order a product that is 'Out of Stock'?
A. Unfortunately, products listed as 'Out of Stock' are not available for sale. Please use the 'Notify Me' feature to be informed of the product's availability with sellers on Khanna Publishers.
Q. Is it necessary to have an account to shop on Khanna Publishers?
A. It is indeed necessary to create a Khanna Publishers account to complete transactions on the website. The account also affords you a better and more personalized shopping experience, including recommendations, quicker checkout and a wish list.

Credit cards
We accept payments made using Visa, MasterCard and American Express credit cards. To pay using your credit card at checkout, you will need your card number, expiry date, three-digit CVV number (found on the backside of your card). After entering these details, you will be redirected to the bank's page for entering the online 3D Secure password.

Debit cards
We accept payments made using Visa, MasterCard and Maestro debit cards. To pay using your debit card at checkout, you will need your card number, expiry date (optional for Maestro cards), three-digit CVV number (optional for Maestro cards). You will then be redirected to your bank's secure page for entering your online password (issued by your bank) to complete the payment.
Q. Is it safe to use my credit/debit card on Khanna Publishers?

Order Status

Q. How do I check the current status of my orders?
A. You can review the status of your orders and other related information in the 'My Account' sectionIn the My Account page, click on the 'My Orders' link to view the status of all your orders. To view the status of a specific order, click on the 'Order Number' link.

What do the different order status mean?
Payment Pending Authorization: Your order has been logged and we are waiting for authorization from the payment gateway. Payment Authorized, Order under Processing: Authorization has been received from the payment gateway and your order is being processed by the seller. Order Shipped: Your order has been shipped by the seller and is on its way to the location specified by you for delivery. Order Cancelled: The order was cancelled.

When and how can I cancel an order?
You can cancel your order before it reaches the "Order Shipped" state. To cancel, please Contact Uswith the order number.

Shipping

Q. What are the delivery charges?
A. Delivery charge varies for regular mail or speed post. The cost is included in the cost of the book at the time of order creation
Q. What is the estimated delivery time?
A. Khanna Publishers generally ship the items within the time specified on the book page. Business days exclude public holidays and Sundays.
Estimated delivery time is dependent on the following factors
The destination to which you want the order shipped to and geographical location of the Seller
'In Stock'
For items listed as "In Stock", Khanna Publishers will mention the delivery time based on your location pin code (usually 2-3 business days, 4-5 business days or 4-6 business days in areas where standard courier service is available). For other areas, orders will be sent by Registered Post through the Indian Postal Service which may take 1-2 weeks depending on the location.
'Available'
Khanna Publishers might not have the item in stock but can procure it when an order is placed for the item. The delivery time will depend on the estimated shipping time to your location.
'Out of Stock'
Currently, the item is not available for sale. Use the 'Notify Me' feature to know once it is available for purchase.
'Out of Print'
This product is not available because it is no longer being published and has been permanently discontinued.
Q. Why does the delivery date not correspond to the delivery timeline mentioned?
A. It is possible that our courier partners have a holiday between your order date and the estimated delivery date based on the timelines shown on the book page. In this case, we add a day to the estimated date. Some courier partners do not work on Sundays and this is factored in to the delivery dates.
Q. Does Khanna Publishers deliver internationally?
A. As of now, Khanna Publishers doesn't deliver items internationally.
You will be able to make your purchases on our site from anywhere in the world with credit/debit cards issued in India and 21 other countries, but please ensure the delivery address is in India.

Delivery

Q. How does the delivery process work?
A. All deliveries are scheduled through postal services via regular post or speed post. You will be informed when the consignment is posted and will also be provided a tracking number.During checkout you will be prompted to provide your location's pin code in order to ensure that the postal services does indeed deliver to you.
Q. How are items packaged?
A. Products are shipped in packages with waterproof plastic wrap.
Q. How can I track the delivery of my order?
A. All items sold by sellers on Khanna Publishers are delivered through postal services vide regular post or speed post. You will be informed when the your consignment is posted and will also be provided a tracking number

Cancellations & Returns

Q. How do I cancel an order?
A. You can cancel your order online before the product has been shipped. Your entire order amount will be refunded. Unfortunately, an order cannot be cancelled once the item has been shipped or delivered to you.
Q. How can I cancel items in my order?
A. You can cancel an item in your order, unless the item is shipped.
In order to cancel an item in your order
- Log into your Khanna Publishers account and go to the 'My Orders' page
- Identify the item you want to cancel and click on the corresponding 'View Details' link
- In the detailed order page, you will see 'Cancel' links against each of the items in that order
- Click on the 'Cancel' link, indicate the reason for cancellation, choose a mode of refund and confirm cancellation
- Once your cancellation request is created, we will ensure that the cancellation is processed as soon as possible
Q. Why do I see a disabled 'Cancel' link?
A. A disabled 'Cancel' link can mean the item is being shipped together with another order of yours.

Q. How long will it take to process my cancellation request?
A. Once you request the cancellation of book(s) in your order, it will take us a maximum of 1-2 business days to cancel the order and initiate a refund. You will be notified of the same by email.
The money will be transferred back to the source of transaction ASAP, though in some cases it may take up to 7-10 business days for the respective banks to process the refund. Please get in touch with the banks directly in case of any delays post confirmation of cancellation/refund by Khanna Publishers.

FAQ’s for E-books

Q. Do I need special software or hardware to read e-books?
A.Our e-books can be read online on the browser. However, it is recommended that you download the e-book Reader app from our website and read at your own pace.
Q. Where can I download the Reader App from?
A. On the Khanna Publishers login page you will also be able to access and download the Khanna e-book reader app. This is available for Windows 10 and both for 64 bit and 32 bit version. Please select the version that confirms to your device
Q. If I purchase an eBook, when do I have access to the files?
A. Within 12 hours of payment confirmation. Once you complete your order, you will be provided, as well as emailed, a digital key to download your eBook.
Q. How can I access the e-books that have been assigned to me by my college/ bought by me from the site?
A. Once you login to the App click on the College e-book tab to see the books assigned to you by the college. Alternately, if you have bought the book from the site, you can see it under the “my e-books” tab.
Q. How many devices can I use to read the e-book?
A. The user id and password will work on the App in only two devices. It gets locked to the device.
Q. Can I read the book offline too?
A. Through the app you can read the books offline also. However, for that first time you will need to open the chapters online for them to be stored in the App memory. You will be able to read all books chapter wise.
Q. How can I take a printout of the pages that I need?
A. You will not be able to take any printouts or copy paste any page from the books. These books are secured.
Q. Can I read the book on my tablet or mobile?
A. Currently the e-book can be read on a browser only on these devices. The app is not available for tablets and mobile.
Q. Once I have purchased my e-book, will it always be available?
A. The e-book is available to you for the subscription time that you have been assigned by the college/ alternately you have bought. The title is stored in your account and you can access it at any time by logging in with your username and password. If you are receiving an error messageindicating that your subscription had expired before the designated time, please contact our support team who will be happy to reset this for you.
Q. Is it possible to have a trial or to return an eBook?
A. Unfortunately, it is not possible to have a trial or to return a purchased eBook.
Q. What if I change computers/devices?
A. You may download/read your purchased / assigned books as long as it is within the download window from the date you purchased/ or been assigned the eBook. If you need to move to another computer or device during the active period, you may contact us for changing the device.
